Who we are?

PolyTrade is an Agrifood export & import company with three decades of experience in the international food market, as a trader of raw materials, crops, spices and agricultural manufacturing products.

The company is situated in Khartoum, Sudan, with deep experience in the field of international trade and provides a variety of services, such as consulting, marketing, research, legal, logistics and hulled Sesame seeds processing lines.

Our know-how in trading food products and ingredients on the international and local markets is based on an integrated network of relationships built and developed over the past three decades.

Senior Staff

Gabi F Ghobrial

Work Experience
In Sudan:
– (1969 – 1980) Worked in the Export of various
commodities, e.g., Bees Wax, Chilly, Cattle
Hides & Crocodiles Skins.
– (1980 – 1988) Worked in the supply of various raw
materials to soap and oil factories; as well, as the
supply of Agrochemicals to Gezira Board and
other agricultural schemes in Sudan.
In Egypt:
– (1989 – 2020) Worked in various fields of
supplying and distributing various commodities
into the Egyptian market, i.e., Palm Oils,
Sudanese and Ethiopian Sesame seeds, Melon
seeds, Sorghum, Russian and Ukrainian
Wheat.
– (2020) Together with Mr. Magdi Mustafa Abu el-
Gasim, formulated a Partnership in the form of a
private limited company (PLC), named:
“PolyTrade Investment Co. Ltd.”, located in
Khartoum, Sudan as shown aside.

Marwa Adil

An export and import operations manager, with more than three years of official experience in the field of international trade. Specialized in exporting Crops, Pulses and importing Sugar and fertilizers. In addition to events management, export & import documentation and specialization in Documentary credit with an accredited CDCS certificate.

Sara Alzain

International Trade specialist with over 3 years of experience. In addition to a distinguished experience in exporting/importing oil seeds, lentils, urea fertilizer, flour, and other crops.
With an accredited documentary credit certificate (CDCS), a master’s in marketing, and an accredited ICDL certificate.

Magdi Mustafa

Work Experience
– (1991 – 1997): Joined Mahgoub Sons Trading
& Agricultural Co. Ltd., covering various areas
of its activities, (i.e., Gedarif, Damazin, Sinja,
etc.)
– (2003 – 2008): Established Mahgoub Sons
office in Ethiopia to secure shortages in
agricultural produce in Sudan.
– (2008 – 2020): Returned back to Sudan and
presumed my activities in Mahgoub Sons Group
of companies; acted as General Manager,
stationed at Gedarif.
– During the period (2008 – 2020) I have
established a recognized and sizeable base for
Mahgoub Sons Group of Companies in Gedarif,
comprising a number of Cleaning Plants with its
Silos, a Tahina & Tahniya Factory and a Cotton
Delinter Factory, all administered through a
building of modern administrative offices and a
Rest House.
– During this last period, I physically executed all
local purchases of various agricultural produce
(Sesame seeds, Ground Nuts, Sorghum, Melon
seeds, etc.)
– Moreover, I executed all contracts in the name
of Mahgoub Sons (masot) with the World Food
Program (WFP).
– I also was responsible for executing all export
contracts of agricultural produce from Sudan.
